-Eye Protective Services has a job opening for Unarmed Security Officers in Delray, FL. We need reliable Security Officers to handle gatehouse and rover job duties in an upscale residential community. The Security Officer will be responsible for using corporate protocol to greet residents and guests and follow proper gatehouse procedures.

• Demonstrate excellent customer service, communication, and time management skills.
• Monitor and operate Electronic Security Control Systems and Emergency Response Systems.
• Patrol the residential community (golf cart or marked vehicle).
• Respond to emergency situations in a timely manner.
• Monitor and control access to the building.
• Accurately maintain daily logs, records and forms.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building/property.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

No prior security experience required.

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Valid Security D License.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to quickly and easily navigate the building/property.
• Complete all required forms.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass drug screening and background check.
• Computer literacy: command of information system hardware/software.
• Experience speaking multiple languages desirable.
• Work in an upright, standing, or sitting position for long periods of time; handle, grasp, and lift objects and packages.
