Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor and/or vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site expectations, while maintaining awareness of surroundings and following assigned post orders.
• Support day-to-day operations by communicating with staff and/or local responders when needed, completing routine reports, and helping to address security-related concerns with professionalism and care.

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
