** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Screen individuals and personal property using assigned screening equipment and established procedures; identify prohibited items and report concerns to appropriate personnel.

+ Verify access credentials, direct visitors to designated locations, and maintain orderly entry processes in a government facility.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, surrounding areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
