KEY TASKThe position includes installing residential and commercial equipment, mini-split systems, ductwork, refrigeration equipment, etc. Must be able to follow instructions and carry them out in a timely manner. Sharp customer service skills are a plus. Must work well with others. The applicant should have their own tools, dependable transportation, and be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications. This position requires working in an outside environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Able to complete all general HVAC residential and light commercial installations.
- Know how to build customer rapport through professional attitude and performance.
- Directly communicating with homeowners to ensure a 5 Star experience.
- Educate and assist customers on their new HVAC systems and answer questions they may have.
- Strong desire to be a better installer tomorrow than you are today.
- Use ductulator.
- Basic understanding of more complex duct connections.
- Able to supervise others and keep the job on track.
- Can complete simple low-voltage connections on air handlers and air conditioners.
- Before leaving the job, communicate with the dispatch/manager on a daily basis.
- Install curb/curb adapter.
- Must be able to communicate well with contractors and supervisors.
- Able to complete and follow through on change orders.
- Able to communicate if a change order is needed.
- Able to measure ductwork and install all.
- Ability to braze line sets.
- Maintain truck inventory.
- Support and train Level 1 & Level 2 Installers.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- EPA certification.
- 2+ years install experience.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be willing to undergo an MVR and background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
