Location
Shaner Hotels is hiring an Engineer for the 95‑room Fairfield Inn & Suites in Delray Beach, Florida.
Responsibilities- Maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on ice machines, refrigeration units, and air handling units.
- Ensure operations align with Shaner Hotels standards and franchise requirements.
- Handle other general maintenance duties as assigned.
- Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a hotel, preferably with franchise experience.
- Strong background in commercial refrigeration and knowledge of ice machines, industrial chiller systems, and air handling units.
- Basic working knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Positive interpersonal skills to interact with hotel personnel and resolve issues promptly.
