Maintenance Technician

HOERBIGER is seeking a Maintenance D Technician 1 to support its advanced manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient operation. You will troubleshoot mechanical, basic electrical, and pneumatic issues, interpret technical drawings, and document all work performed. Working closely with engineers and production teams, you'll help improve equipment performance and uptime in a safety-focused, engineering-driven environment with opportunities for learning and growth.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct inspections, tests, and adjustments to ensure safe, reliable operation
• Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status in CMMS or logs
• Assist with installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery or upgrades
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals
• Collaborate with engineers and production teams to improve equipment performance
• Follow safety, lockout/tagout, and environmental procedures at all times
• Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain tools, work areas, and spare parts in an organized, ready state
