We are looking for an experienced Residential HVAC Installer to join a growing HVAC team. This is a hands-on position focused on installing, maintaining, and repairing residential heating and cooling systems while providing quality service to homeowners and working closely with other technicians and project teams.
What You’ll Do- Install residential HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless systems
. - Prepare job sites for HVAC installations and verify required electrical and plumbing connections.
- Diagnose system issues and perform necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other technicians to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
- Ensure installations and repairs meet applicable HVAC codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and address questions or concerns regarding their HVAC systems.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good working condition.
- Follow all required safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized job site.
- 5+ years of residential HVAC installation experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- HVAC technical certification, trade school, or apprenticeship is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of residential heating and cooling systems.
- Experience installing and servicing furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, and ductless equipment.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of current HVAC codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
. - Comfortable working in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable performing physical work for extended periods.
- Ability to safely work on ladders up to 30 feet
