About the RoleAs a Prevention Coordinator, you’ll deliver engaging, evidence‑informed prevention programming across Palm Beach County, primarily with high school students. You’ll connect with youth, parents, and educators, empowering them with tools and knowledge that build resilience and reduce risk. This role blends macro and mezzo‑level impact with meaningful student interaction.
What You’ll Do- Present dynamic prevention presentations and assemblies for students, parents, and staff.
- Build and sustain school relationships through outreach and partnership.
- Support schools with student disclosures and referrals.
- Collect data to measure outcomes and impact.
- Balance school visits with office‑based outreach, scheduling, and reporting.
- LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC (preferred); MSW, MFT, or MHC considered.
- 1–3 years’ experience in school‑based or community behavioral health.
- Strong public speaking, relationship‑building, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of youth risk and protective factors.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
