Location:
Delray Beach/Boynton Beach area, FL
Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday–Friday (M-Th: 8AM-5:30PM/Fri: 8AM-12PM)
Pay: up to $23.39 per hour commensurate with experience
The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County is seeking a dedicated and bilingual Family Services Specialist to advocate for families and help them access essential early learning programs and services. What You'll Do- Provide Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) services in the community.
- Screen applicants for financial assistance and determine eligibility for programs such as School Readiness, VPK, CSC Scholarship, Head Start and Early Head Start.
- Advocate for families, assess needs, and assist with enrollment, transfers, and service terminations.
- Maintain accurate family information in the Enhanced Field System (EFS) database.
- Manage a caseload while accurately documenting case notes and ensuring compliance with confidentiality and reporting requirements.
- Bilingual proficiency in English & Creole – Required (read, write, speak).
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, Social Work, or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in CCR&R, eligibility determination, or childcare enrollment processes.
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to troubleshoot basic tech issues.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRMs and cloud-based systems.
