Web Developer

Basketball Stars is looking for a creative and passionate Web Developer to join our growing digital team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging web experiences that support our basketball gaming platform and online community. You will work closely with designers, game developers, marketers, and product managers to create fast, responsive, and visually appealing websites and web applications.

• Develop and maintain responsive websites and web applications for Basketball Stars.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create visually attractive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and scalability across multiple devices and browsers.
• Integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services into web platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot bugs, technical issues, and performance problems.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas for continuous improvement.
• Support new feature development for gaming events, leaderboards, player profiles, and online tournaments.
• Ensure website security and data protection standards are maintained.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of backend technologies such as Node.js, PHP, or Python.
• Experience working with REST APIs and database systems.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Passion for gaming and sports-related digital experiences is a plus.

• Experience with cloud services and deployment platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO optimization and website analytics.
• Familiarity with multiplayer gaming platforms or live data systems.
• Basic understanding of animation libraries and interactive web effects.
