First Nations Client Relationship Manager

Drive strategic relationships with First Nations clients as a Remote Relationship Manager at the First Nations Financial Management Board. Focus on compliance and capacity development.

Reporting to the Senior Relationship Manager, this role involves outreach and engagement with new clients while providing support for their Financial Administration Law and Certifications. You will develop tailored strategies to connect with First Nations, facilitate workshops, and ensure they meet compliance standards. Your engagement with Chief & Council will foster long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop targeted client outreach strategies

• Promote FMB services and engage potential clients

• Deliver presentations and workshops to First Nations

• Manage compliance processes for FAL or FAB

• Coordinate with stakeholders to support client needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• 5+ years in business development, preferably with First Nations

• Indigenous cultural awareness is essential

• Proficient in MS Suite and CRM systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
