Cultural Workshop Planner Tsawwassen First Nation

Embrace a full-time role as the Cultural Workshop Planner with Tsawwassen First Nation. Plan, coordinate, and deliver cultural events that highlight the rich traditions and language of the Tsawwassen community.

This permanent position requires a skilled individual dedicated to preserving and celebrating the Coast Salish culture through workshops and community programs. Collaborate with Elders and local artists while working closely with the Events & Food Services team. Every event planned aims to strengthen community bonds and support cultural revitalization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Language & Culture workshops and programs

• Organize logistics for events including venues and supplies

• Collaborate with various teams for event integration

• Facilitate traditional teachings and cultural activities

• Manage budgets and coordinate event-related purchases

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of event planning experience

• Post-secondary education in a related field is an asset

• Experience with Indigenous communities preferred

• Strong organizational and project management skills

• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
