Rubicon Organics Safety Manager Position

Join Rubicon Organics as a Health and Safety Manager in Delta, BC, and lead the charge in promoting workplace safety and compliance. Your expertise will shape safety culture across a dynamic cannabis organization.

In collaboration with the Director of Operations, you will manage the health and safety function for over 300 employees, ensuring best practices are embedded in every department. This role is essential in establishing and refining a comprehensive Safety Management System while guiding leadership in effective safety strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Safety Management System (SMS)

• Lead department-wide safety training and compliance initiatives

• Coach safety personnel and prioritize organizational safety needs

• Ensure ongoing compliance with health and safety legislation

• Conduct internal audits to enhance safety performance

Requirements:

• Degree, diploma, or certification in Occupational Health and Safety

• Minimum of 7–10 years in health and safety management

• Familiarity with WorkSafeBC and industry regulations

• Experience leading safety programs in diverse operational settings

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
