Job Description

The Finance Shared Services team provides transactional, payroll, credit, treasury, data analysis and client services to the J.D. Irving, Limited group of Companies. The Finance Quality & Assurance Student position is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure in financial shared services with a large and diversified company.

• Test internal controls identified in the Shared Service compliance program
• Assist in gathering of information for external reporting
• Professional development and mentorship opportunities
• Use of latest tools and technologies to complete data analysis and visualizations
• Project management and process improvement

• University Business/Commerce Degree Student in Good Academic Standing
• Available for the Fall 2026 Co-op Work Term Period
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on MS Excel
• Team Player with a Can-Do Attitude
• Strong Communicator
• Curious with a Process Improvement Mindset
• Long Term Career interest in Accounting, Finance and/or Analytics
