- Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects, identifying needs and providing advice on financial solutions.
- Collaborate with branch and BMO partners across channels to deliver desired customer experience and meet business objectives.
- Act as lobby leader—welcome and guide customers in the branch lobby, recommend digital and self‑serve options.
- Conduct client conversations about banking services, recommend alternative channels, and provide personal banking and investment advice.
- Meet transaction‑based needs with seamless execution.
- Review customer profiles, engage in needs‑based conversations, and identify opportunities for everyday banking plans and credit card needs.
- Contribute to meeting branch business results and overall customer experience.
- Support operational activities: inventory management, escalated service requests, follow‑up on customer applications, filing, opening and closing activities.
- Probe to understand personal banking and credit card needs, integrating marketing promotions into conversations.
- Organize work information for accuracy and completeness.
- Initiate creative approaches to personalize customer experience.
- Look for ways to improve overall customer experience.
- Work at multiple branches or through various channels; schedule may vary week to week.
- Follow risk and compliance processes and policies to safeguard assets and privacy, and act in customers’ best interest.
- Stay current on financial services marketplace, regulatory environment, and ethical requirements.
- Maintain current knowledge of personal banking products and trends.
- Identify and report suspicious activity related to money laundering.
- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements in jurisdiction.
- Complete complex tasks within rules, analyze issues, determine next steps, and escalates as required.
- Apply Risk Management Framework, taking measured risks aligned with business strategy and approved risk appetite.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Canada only: registration to sell investment products completed or in progress within 12 months.
- Confident in using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools and applications.
- Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles, with drive to deliver a personal customer experience.
- Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions.
- Passionate commitment to helping customers.

- Resourceful self‑starter with confidence to approach customers.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build rapport and connections with customers.

- Salary: $36,000.00 – $54,500.00 (Salaried). Salaries vary by location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications; may include commission structure. Part‑time roles are pro‑rated.
