Position: Credit Analyst with Sales Focus
Drive sales and minimize credit risk as a Credit Analyst at Gordon Food Service, based in Delta, BC, with hybrid work flexibility.

In this vital role, you will support the Canada Credit Manager by evaluating new and existing accounts in order to protect the company against bad debts. Your key tasks include analyzing customer financial statements and reviewing credit reports to ensure sound credit evaluations. You will communicate regularly with customers and sales teams to build relationships and encourage effective credit practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess adherence to credit collection policies

• Analyze financial statements and industry trends

• Approve transactions within credit authority

• Monitor customer order activities daily

• Engage with customers to understand financial exposure

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline

• Minimum of 3 years in credit analysis

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Proficiency with MS Office products

• Knowledge of industry-standard credit analysis tools preferred
