Direct Hire Specialist
At IS2 Workforce Solutions, we re looking for a driven, energetic Direct Hire Specialist to join our team in Delta, BC. You will play a pivotal role in driving business growth & fostering client relationships, in recruitment, selection and management of candidates, and the delivery of IS2’s core values.
This role focuses both on recruitment activities and account management, acting as the main point of contact for our clients. As a Direct Hire Specialist, you will embody our commitment to excellence, integrity, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, company culture, and role requirements. Act as a trusted recruitment advisor, providing market insights, salary guidance, and hiring recommendations. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships to support ongoing and future hiring needs. Identify new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach.
Full-cycle Permanent Recruitment:Manage the recruitment cycle from intake meeting to offer acceptance and onboarding support. Use job boards, databases, referrals, Linked In, and direct outreach. Collaborate with client hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Conduct in-depth interviews with candidates to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit. Present well-qualified candidates with clear, professional summaries and recommendations. Coordinate client interviews, gather feedback, and manage offer negotiations.
CandidateManagement:
Provide a high touch candidate experience with clear communication and follow up. Coach candidates through interview preparation, offer stage, and resignation process.
Compliance & Documentation:Ensure all recruitment processes and placements adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, inclusive of IS2’s recruitment practices. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information, interviews, and placements. Always follow IS2’s Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience in permanent recruitment (agency or in-house).
- Proven success managing full cycle permanent placements.
- Strong interviewing and relationship building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple searches and priorities simultaneously.
- Intermediate level computer skills, including Internet use, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools.
- Consultative and service-oriented mindset.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.

- Competitive base salary $60,000-$75,000 plus commission/ bonus structure.
