Our Delta office is small, collaborative, and growing rapidly. To support our team, we are seeking a temporary Recruitment and Marketing Assistant to join our team.

The RoleThe Recruitment and Marketing Assistant provides essential administrative, recruitment, and marketing support to a team of Recruiters. This role is ideal for someone energetic, personable, highly organized, and comfortable with both people-facing and digital communication tasks.

Serve as the first point of contact for candidates, clients, and internal staff, delivering a professional and welcoming experience
Provide timely, friendly, and effective communication and follow-up
Assist Recruiters with database searches, candidate pre-screening, and junior-level interviews
Support urgent temporary and permanent staffing requests
Coordinate interviews, conduct reference checks, administer assessments, and complete onboarding documentation
Maintain and update candidate records and pipelines in the CRM
Prepare “hot candidate” profiles and support job postings across social media platforms
Develop and maintain targeted client and prospect email distribution lists
Execute outbound email marketing campaigns to existing and prospective clients promoting services, featured candidates, and special offers
Assist in drafting professional marketing emails, service updates, and promotional communications
Track email campaign performance (open rates, responses, follow-ups) and report results to the Manager, Recruitment
Support client outreach initiatives aligned with revenue and growth objectives
Coordinate follow-up communication with prospective clients generated through marketing campaigns
Provide basic reception coverage as needed, including answering phones, managing mail, and opening/closing the office
Complete general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, document management, and calendar coordination
Provide immediate backup support to Recruiters during peak periods
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Manager, Recruitment
Post-secondary diploma or university degree; recruitment, HR, or marketing experience is an asset
Experience with email marketing platforms or CRM systems is an advantage
Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe; solid technical and research skills
Experience in a professional services environment; exposure to full-cycle recruitment or B2B marketing is an advantage
Excellent organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Strong written and verbal English communication skills with a polished, professional presence
Friendly, confident, reliable, punctual, and approachable
High attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency
