Payroll Specialist; Yukon Payroll

Humans of HR is an upcoming boutique recruitment agency in Vancouver and is very quickly becoming the go‑to agency for hiring and placement of skilled corporate professionals with a vast network and customer‑centric approach.

We’re currently supporting a client in the search for a Payroll Specialist with experience processing Yukon payroll and navigating Canadian payroll legislation with confidence. This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates across Canada.

• Process end‑to‑end payroll for employees in Yukon and other Canadian jurisdictions
• Ensure payroll is completed accurately and on time in compliance with federal and territorial legislation
• Manage payroll deductions, remittances, ROEs, T4s, benefits, and payroll reconciliations
• Maintain employee payroll records and respond to payroll‑related inquiries
• Support audits, reporting, and continuous process improvements
• Collaborate closely with HR and Finance teams

• 3+ years of Canadian payroll experience
• Direct experience processing Yukon payroll is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of Canadian payroll legislation, deductions, and compliance requirements
• PCP designation (or working toward it) is considered an asset
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
