HR Generalist

A well-established organization in the logistics and vehicle processing industry is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join its team. This role supports both union and non-union employees in a fast-paced environment and is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with leadership and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HR guidance and support to supervisors and employees
• Support recruitment, hiring, and new employee onboarding
• Assist with performance management and employee relations
• Support labour relations in a unionized environment
• Manage attendance and disability-related processes
• Coordinate employee recognition and wellness initiatives
• Maintain HR records, reports, and systems

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a unionized environment
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field
• CPHR designation considered an asset
• Strong understanding of employment legislation
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
