We are looking for a Controller to lead Ocean Trailer’s Accounting Team reporting to the Chief Financial Officer. This position is a full‑time permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, in our head office in Delta, BC.

• Oversee full‑cycle accounting across multiple entities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting under ASPE
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, budgets, and variance analysis
• Maintain cashflow forecasts to support operational and strategic planning
• Work closely with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and reporting requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors and liaise with CRA on GST and tax matters
• Oversee tax filings for corporations, partnerships, joint ventures, and trusts
• Maintain strong internal controls and accounting policies
• Review and approve payroll, taxable benefits, and regulatory filings
• Oversee T4s, T4
  
  As, WCB, EHT, and related submissions
• Other related duties that may be assigned from time‑to‑time.

• Post‑secondary education in a relevant discipline
• Designated CPA, required
• 7+ years of accounting experience
• Experience in a relevant industry, nice to have
• Working knowledge of Net Suite ERP software, preferred
• Ability to be courteous and professional with customers and co‑workers, while establishing and maintaining solid relationships
• Strong team management experience
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to make informed decisions and/or suggestions to improve efficiency

• $125k - $150k, based on experience
