As a Cook, you will report to the Executive Chef and produce high-quality dishes that align with the culinary team's goals. You are responsible for food preparation and must effectively monitor safety and hygiene standards. Contributing recipe ideas will enhance the dining experience for residents, while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere is vital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present menu items consistently with Bria Cuisine standards
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and manage food safety practices
• Lead food production in the Executive Chef's absence
• Communicate effectively with management and team members
• Contribute creatively to menu planning and recipe development
Requirements:
• Culinary diploma preferred with relevant experience
• Food Safe Certificate and Red Seal Certificate preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy kitchen
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
