Elevate your culinary skills as a Full-Time Cook with Tsawwassen First Nation in B.C. Deliver high-quality, nutritious meals for community programs, catering, and special events every day.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and ensuring the delivery of appealing meals while working closely with the Food Services team. Key tasks involve menu planning, inventory control, and adhering to food safety standards. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining efficient kitchen operations and supporting community events.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Develop rotating menus that cater to community needs
• Manage inventory and place food orders
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and safety protocols
• Collaborate with the Food Services team for event catering
Requirements:
• Minimum four years of commercial cooking experience
• Certification in Professional Cook Level 1 is an asset
• Experience in menu planning and food costing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
