Business Development Representative

Delta, BC | Greater Vancouver Region

Base Salary: $40,000–$55,000 + Uncapped Commission

On-Target Earnings: $80,000–$100,000+

Recruiting in Motion is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing team in Delta, BC.

This role is focused on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. If you're a sales professional who enjoys prospecting, networking, meeting decision-makers, and closing new business, this is an opportunity to build a rewarding career with uncapped earning potential.

While you'll have the ability to develop clients throughout Western Canada, travel is primarily limited to the Greater Vancouver region, with most prospecting and business development activities conducted locally.

• Generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, email campaigns, Linked In outreach, and other prospecting activities
• Identify and engage business owners, hiring managers, HR professionals, and key decision-makers
• Schedule and conduct in-person and virtual client meetings
• Present Recruiting in Motion's staffing and recruitment solutions to prospective clients
• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Build long-term client relationships and identify opportunities for account growth
• Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure successful client delivery and exceptional service
• Attend networking events, industry functions, and business development meetings throughout the Greater Vancouver region
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline information within CRM systems

• Minimum 2 years of B2B sales, business development, account management, or professional services sales experience
• Proven success generating new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently
• Excellent organization and follow-up skills
• Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office
• Professional presence and confidence interacting with business leaders and decision-makers
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Experience with in recruitment, staffing, HR services, or workforce solutions is considered a strong asset but is not required.

• Competitive base salary of $40,000–$55,000, depending on experience
