Account Executive

Our Account Executive acts as a consultative partner—building strong client relationships, tailoring UPS solutions, and negotiating agreements to drive both revenue growth and customer success.
Job SummaryThis mid‑level business development position develops and manages a portfolio of B2B and B2C customers within a defined territory. The role focuses on prospecting and acquiring new business, while also retaining and expanding relationships with existing clients. Acting as a consultative partner, the Account Executive assesses customer needs, builds tailored solutions, and negotiates agreements to drive both UPS revenue growth and customer success.
Job Type: Full‑Time / Permanent
Workdays: Monday to Friday
Work Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
Work Location: 790 BELLGRAVE DELTA, BC V3M 5R9 | Hybrid
Compensation Range: $70,128 – $78,894 monthly (based on candidate experience) + SIP (Sales Incentive Program)
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Proactively prospect, qualify, and develop new business opportunities to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding customer needs and positioning UPS as a strategic logistics partner.
- Conduct in‑person client meetings and presentations to deliver tailored solutions.
- Manage and expand an assigned book of business through retention, cross‑sell, and upsell strategies.
- Negotiate and prepare comprehensive logistics solutions that align with customer objectives.
- Stay informed on competitor offerings and market trends to effectively position UPS’s value.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, opportunities, and outcomes in CRM systems.
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure seamless customer onboarding and service delivery.

- Plus 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in logistics, transportation, or a related industry – Required
- Intermediate computer skills:
Word, Excel, and Outlook (Microsoft Office) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Excellent prospecting skills
Excellent problem‑solving skills - Ability to work independently
- Meets local age and operations requirements to operate a vehicle
- Willing to travel on the own territory | Class G License
- Availability to work flexible hours and provides own vehicle for business
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent – Preferred
