The Opportunity
The Sales Administrator is a key member of our team, acting as the centralized quotation department that supports our sales representatives with accurate pricing and proposals. This role suits someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a genuine interest in delivering an excellent customer experience.
What You'll Do
Manage processes to ensure accurate product pricing at all timesDesign and administer pricing for stock inventory promotions, in collaboration with Sales ManagementSupport pricing and proposal preparation for open houses, shows, and special eventsProduce accurate, timely priced proposals for the sales team as the centralized quote departmentVerify accurate costing of product arrivals, in collaboration with AccountingAdminister pricing and listings for used machineryVerify pricing and margins on prospective deals and support price negotiationsMaintain and update the company's CRM systemProcess sales orders with the sales team and dealer network, and coordinate with Accounting on depositsWhat You Bring
1–2 years of experience supporting a sales teamPost-secondary education (Diploma or Bachelor's Degree), preferably in business or sales administrationStrong mathematical skills and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook proficiencyExperience with Microsoft Dynamics or another CRM/ERP system is an assetFamiliarity with Photoshop is a plusStrong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask under deadlinesA detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough approach to workStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work autonomously and take initiative, with strong follow-up skillsA positive, energetic attitude and a passion for customer serviceWorking Conditions
Normal business hours, with occasional evening work as neededOffice-based role requiring extended periods at a computerAbility to stay focused in a busy, open-area office and manage multiple deadlines
