Environmental Coordinator

Position: Environmental Coordinator at Pomerleau
Advance your career as an Environmental Coordinator with Pomerleau, supporting a major transportation infrastructure project in the Lower Mainland. You'll ensure compliance with environmental standards and best practices throughout construction.

In this crucial role, you will work closely with project teams, reporting to the Project Environmental Manager or another designated manager. Your expertise will shape environmental management plans, permit applications, and training sessions for staff and subcontractors. Engage in proactive monitoring and documentation, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations in a complex setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing environmental management plans

• Deliver environmental awareness training to project personnel

• Document environmental observations and compliance

• Coordinate field sampling for soil and water

• Generate environmental monitoring and incident reports

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Environmental Science or related field

• Experience in environmental roles within construction

• Knowledge of environmental legislation and best practices

• Familiarity with environmental monitoring and sampling

• QEP designation eligibility preferred
