The Civil Construction Gradesperson is tasked with ensuring correct pipe placement and alignment for storm, sanitary, and water systems. With over five years of experience, you'll use laser levels, GPS, and your strong math skills to monitor grades throughout the installation process. Collaboration with crews, foremen, and surveyors is vital to maintaining quality and preventing costly rework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shoot pipe elevations using laser levels and GPS

• Direct excavators during trenching to achieve proper grades

• Check pipe alignment and slope continuously

• Interpret civil drawings and pipe schedules efficiently

• Maintain accurate field notes and measurements

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience as a grades person

• Strong understanding of pipe installation practices

• Experience with laser and optical levels

• Ability to read elevation drawings and profiles

• Valid driver’s license for company vehicle operation
