In this continuing position, you will be integral to maintaining operational efficiency across various trades. You will utilize your knowledge of DDC systems and instrumentation as you perform maintenance and repair tasks. Strong analytical skills are required to diagnose complex issues and contribute to energy optimization initiatives in our schools.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC and building systems
• Diagnose instrumentation and control system issues
• Maintain an inventory of tools and equipment
• Test and commission new BAS systems as needed
• Provide training on HVAC system operation
Requirements:
• B.C. Trades Qualification Certificate in a relevant trade
• At least 5 years related work experience
• Ability to read blueprints and technical specifications
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting
