As an Apprentice Millwright at The Original Cakerie, you will engage in full-time maintenance activities, offering support for mechanical installations and repairs. This role demands accurate problem diagnosis and effective solutions, with a focus on safety and GMP practices. Your hands-on experience in both mechanical and electrical aspects will add significant value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support mechanical installation and maintenance tasks

• Conduct thorough problem identification and solutions

• Ensure good housekeeping within maintenance shops

• Assist with preventive maintenance from initiation to closure

• Address food processing machinery breakdowns quickly

Requirements:

• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal or Millwright Apprentice

• Experience in food or pharmaceutical settings preferred

• Strong communication abilities in English

• Flexible availability for shifts and overtime

• Detail-oriented with effective organizational skills
