Job Duties
- Service, repair & adjustment of irrigation and landscape lighting systems at 5‑15 sites per day
- Operate and maintain your company service vehicle, control inventory & billing
- Professional and courteous interaction with new and existing clients daily
- Manage existing accounts and identify opportunities for upgrades
- Adhere to appointment schedules and provide clear communication with office/schedulers
- Apply basic computer and application use
- Perform practical field and trades work, including basic plumbing, electrical and landscaping/gardening tasks
- Represent the company professionally and courteously at all times
- Clean driving record
- Clean criminal record check
- Grade 12 graduation
- Post‑secondary schooling a plus
- IIABC certifications a strong asset
- Construction‑related trade experience/qualifications a plus
- Desire to build a career in service & service‑oriented sales
- Prior experience in a service‑related industry preferred
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills, high standard of professionalism and character
- Strong desire to learn and teach
Service season typically runs from March 15 to November 30, with a slow period in winter, mid‑July to late August. Weekend, late night and early morning work schedules are available but not required. Travel time between sites is included in compensation via a piece‑work model.
You will drive a company vehicle. Maintenance & fuel costs are paid by employer. Time spent at sites from arrival to departure is compensated.
Open to candidates who want to grow within the company, with opportunities to move into installation sales or foreman roles.
