Location 72 Street Delta (BC Distribution Centre), BC
Must have previous experience and/or training in electronics repair, preferably of music gear. Diploma or Certificate in Electronics is an asset depending on experience.
Knowledge of electronic music gear that Long & McQuade sells and how they work: Instrument amplifiers, Powered PA speakers, Keyboards, Electronic Drums, DJ gear, DJ Lighting, Tube amplifiers.

Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Provide quality and timely repairs and maintenance to gear purchased from Long & Mc Quade
Provide quality and timely repairs and maintenance to gear from our store demo stock and rental inventory
Use our common sense approach with customers to troubleshoot and solve problems
Answer telephone calls and follow up with customers in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate and detailed computer records of all active repairs
Follow up on parts orders with suppliers
Read schematics and service manuals
Maintain a clean and organized workplace
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Education:
AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
playing a musical instrument: 1 year (required)
Electronics Repair: 5 years (required)
