Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Intern, Field Service Representative (4-8 months) Delta, BC or Kamloops, BC
.
The hourly rate for this position is $21 - $26 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is scheduled to start July or August 2026

This position is responsible for working with the Electrical Engineering Service & Systems (EESS) group to provide on-site engineering and technical assistance in areas of electrical equipment maintenance, new equipment commissioning, custom electrical equipment modification, wiring, controls, drives and breakers.
Essential Functions- Assist Field Service personnel in a wide variety of electrical work
- Assist in creating detailed and quality reports to customers covering the scope of work performed
- Follow required safety practices
- Manage paperwork and office procedures, as required
- Perform all work at a high level of quality
- Be willing and available to work evenings and weekends, as required by our customers. Travel may be required
- Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Philosophy and Values, as well as Safety and Environmental standards
- Perform other duties, as required
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Co-Op Program in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Must possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license
- This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120km of Delta, BC, or Kamloops, BC, Canada.
- No sponsorship provided. Candidates must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no company sponsorship now or in the future.
- 0 - 5 years of experience in manufacturing, electrical controls and/or power distribution products.
- Strong computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
- Mechanical aptitude
- Business travel to customer sites required, utilizing company vehicle
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical aptitude and complex problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (including Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint).
- Effective time management, prioritization, and project management skills.
