Electronics & Computer Trades Technician Position

Delta School District seeks a dedicated Electronics & Computer Trades Technician to enhance our educational technology systems. This role is pivotal for ensuring high-quality IT support.

As a full-time technician, you'll report to the ITS Foreman and be integral to the IT Services team.

Your role will involve maintenance, repair, and installation of technology systems that support over 15,900 students. Applicants should have extensive experience with networking, VMWARE, and be skilled in troubleshooting various IT challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and repair on computer systems

• Implement upgrades and modifications as necessary

• Collaborate effectively with other IT staff

• Interpret specifications and maintain documentation

• Follow safe work protocols and regulations

Requirements:

• Completion of a recognized technical diploma

• CNE or equivalent certification required

• 5+ years of recent relevant work experience

• Proficient in network management and security

• Ability to work independently and within a team
