Position: Experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic Wanted
Join JJM Construction as a Heavy Duty Mechanic in Delta, BC, where your expertise in equipment maintenance and repair plays a critical role in our operations. This position emphasizes safety and technical skill.

In this role, you will be responsible for servicing a range of heavy duty equipment such as excavators and graders. Your ability to diagnose and repair both diesel and gas engines will be crucial to maintaining operational efficiency at construction sites. The successful candidate will adhere to all safety regulations while leading by example in a supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and overhaul heavy duty vehicles and equipment

• Maintain and service hydraulic and electrical systems

• Ensure safe operation of equipment on-site

• Document maintenance and repair activities accurately

• Lead training on safety protocols for the team

Requirements:

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification required

• At least five years of experience in heavy civil construction

• Familiarity with Caterpillar and Hitachi equipment

• Clean driver’s license per insurance requirements

• CSTS-09 and WHIMIS certifications needed
