In the role of Grades person, you will use advanced laser and GPS systems for pipe elevation control. You will also interpret civil drawings and maintain detailed field notes, ensuring a seamless installation process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shoot pipe elevations using laser and GPS equipment

• Direct excavator operators for proper trench grades

• Verify grade hubs, benchmarks, and slopes

• Monitor installation to prevent low/high spots

• Interpret civil drawings for accurate execution

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in grades and pipe laying

• Proficiency with laser levels and optical transit

• Strong math skills in elevations and slopes

• Valid driver’s license for company vehicle operation

• CSTS, WHMIS, and safety certifications
