Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Field Service | $57–$62/hour | Day Shift | Comprehensive Benefits
A leading equipment solutions provider is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic – Field Service professional to join its high-performing team. If you’re an expert in diagnosing, maintaining, and field-servicing boom lifts, scissor lifts, telehandlers, and other aerial work platforms — with strong hydraulic, diesel, and electrical diagnostic skills — this is an opportunity to work with advanced equipment in a stable, respected organization that values expertise, safety, and career growth.

- Conduct diagnostics, maintenance, and field repairs on aerial lifts, high-reach platforms, and access equipment
- Inspect machines and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues quickly and efficiently
- Travel to customer sites throughout Southwestern British Columbia to deliver on-site service and support
- Complete accurate service reports and maintain detailed repair documentation
- Communicate effectively with customers and provide exceptional field support
- Contribute to a safety-driven, collaborative environment
- 5+ years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic or field service technician, including extensive work on aerial lift or high-reach equipment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, diesel, and electrical systems
, including diagnostics and schematics - Familiarity with Web GPI
, Deutz engines
, and boom calibration preferred - Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driving record
- Heavy Duty Equipment Technician certification or equivalent qualifications preferred
