What You Will Do- Perform installation or service work as designated in a profitable and proper manner. Record productive time versus travel time.
- Perform preventive maintenance work in accordance with the service program designated for specific customers.
- Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure.
- Keep updated on all changes or modifications to Stanley equipment and ANSI
156.10 standard as notified through published communications. - Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property in proper manner.
- Present neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log.
- Test equipment before leaving job site; perform safety check.
- Maintain good customer relations and customer service.
- Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
- Ability to lift 75–100lbs.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to sit while driving for periods of time up to 2 hours.
- Ability to stand on concrete for periods of time up to 8 hours.
- Ability to stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, and twist spine occasionally.
- Vision not limited to near, far or colors.
- Ability to work in various climates.
- Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.
- Associate’s degree in a related electrical, mechanical, or industrial field.
- Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field.
- Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames or building door frames, reading blueprints, and AAADM certification.
