Experienced Flat Roofer Needed

Join our team as an experienced flat roofer proficient in SBS torch-on membrane systems. Thrive in a role that combines installation expertise with safety protocols on varied projects.

This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in flat roofing, particularly with SBS systems. You'll be tasked with detailed torch welding, while ensuring all seams and flashings are watertight. Applicants must also be comfortable with preparation work, including removing old materials and inspecting decks. Safety certifications, such as Fall Protection and WHMIS, are required to maintain high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install SBS torch-on membrane on low-slope roofs

• Perform torch welding to ensure watertight seals

• Prepare roofs by tearing off old materials

• Conduct fire watch after torching

• Execute repairs on existing roofing structures

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience

• RCABC Torch Safety certification preferred or willing to obtain

• Valid Fall Protection certification and WHMIS

• Must provide own hand tools

• Reliable transportation and BC Driver’s License
