Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Electrician/ Electrician Installation
Systems Maintenance : Perform comprehensive electrical maintenance and advanced troubleshooting on complex plant equipment.
Inspection & Repair : Inspect, test, and repair electrical systems and infrastructure to ensure maximum safety and operational efficiency.
Emergency Response:
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime and restore operations.
Continuous Improvement:
Collaborate with the maintenance team to support and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Documentation : Maintain precise records of work performed, system modifications, and parts inventory.
What Are We Looking For- Certification:
Must possess a valid Red Seal Industrial Electrician certificate. - Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of industrial electrical systems, controls, and medium-voltage safety standards. - Diagnostic
Skills:
Expert ability to diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently. - Schematic Proficiency:
Highly skilled in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation. - Safety Excellence:
Unwavering commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash safety. - Teamwork:
Strong communication skills with the ability to function effectively within a multidisciplinary maintenance team. - Industry
Experience:
Previous experience in the Cement Industry or heavy industrial manufacturing is preferred.
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination and background check.

- This role operates primarily in heavy industrial environments.
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
- $59.36 per hour (as per collective agreement)
