As a Crane Technician, you will be vital in ensuring safety certification of cranes and hoists under provincial and federal regulations.
Your role involves diagnosing equipment issues, conducting inspections, and assisting with repair recommendations for sales. This position offers a robust work schedule from Monday to Friday, promoting a balanced work-life experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect various hoists and cranes for safety compliance
• Diagnose issues and estimate costs for repairs
• Perform maintenance on overhead electric cranes
• Complete accurate inspection reports for administration
• Maintain inventory paperwork for billing and certification
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10,000 hours working on cranes preferred
• Knowledge of electricity and hydraulics
• Valid driver’s license and insurable
• Ability to lift 50 lbs safely
