Take on the role of Forklift Operator I at NFI, focusing on safe and effective material handling within a busy warehouse. This position is central to ensuring inventory accuracy and meeting customer requirements.
As part of this role, you will operate forklifts and auxiliary equipment while adhering to all safety protocols. Strong attention to detail is needed as you document inspections and verify shipment accuracy. Key Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and document findings
• Stack and store merchandise efficiently using forklifts
• Unload shipments and prepare orders for dispatch
• Support inventory management through counts and reports
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred
• Must have 6 months of forklift operation experience
• Pass the NFI forklift certification test
• Strong detail orientation
• Basic math and customer service skills
