Use millwright expertise to maintain dairy processing equipment at Lactalis Canada Inc, working in person with mechanical systems and safety.
This Journeyman Millwright supports maintenance operations across processing, packaging, and material handling equipment. The position requires equipment servicing, troubleshooting, repairs, and upgrades in a food processing environment. You will apply corrective actions, complete modifications, document activities, and support safe plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and upgrade processing equipment
- Service packaging and material handling equipment
- Carry out work orders and apply corrective actions
- Execute approved modifications and additions
- Document maintenance activities and support safety programs
- Valid BC or interprovincial Red Seal Millwright certificate
- Minimum two years related industrial plant maintenance experience
- Read mechanical, schematic drawings, and P&IDs
- Understand fluid handling and pneumatic controls
- Available for weekend overtime and variable schedules
