River Valley Family Health Centers is looking for a Dental Care Coordinator to join our team in Delta, CO. The Dental Care Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for patients at River Valley, ensuring a smooth and positive experience from scheduling to treatment completion. They manage appointments, verify insurance, coordinate treatment plans, and handle patient communications. The role works closely with clinical staff to support efficient workflow and ensure patients understand their care options and financial responsibilities.

A day in the life of a Dental Care Coordinator includes:
- Assisting the dentist in management and scheduling of medical or dental emergencies by creating appointments for new patient exams, restorative appointments, dentures, etc.
- Scheduling providers and ensuring blocks are added to the Dentrix schedule, and managing scheduling issues and conflicts.
- Verifying insurance and completing pre-authorizations for dental procedures.
- Creating a financial plan for complex cases that aligns with the treatment plan.

- $20.80 - $24.60/hour, depending on experience and certifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or Front Desk Professional is preferred. Prior experience in Dentrix preferred. Valid driver’s license preferred. Bilingual skills are preferred.
Ability to maintain positive working relationships with team members, patients, families, and others.
Ability to utilize a computer for time keeping, documenting electronic medical records, and to complete follow-up tasks.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to travel between clinics as needed.
This position requires long periods of standing and walking, sitting at a computer, the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 35 pounds, etc. Employees are required to complete mandatory vaccines, such as Tdap, Hep A, Hep B, MMR, Varicella, and the yearly flu vaccine.
