Position Type: Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Operating Room Surgical Tech responsible for supporting surgical procedures by ensuring instruments, supplies, and sterile environments are prepared and maintained. Works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborates with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.

• Prepare OR rooms based on physician preference cards
• Maintain sterile field throughout surgical procedures
• Assist with patient positioning and surgical prep
• Open and manage sterile instruments and supplies
• Support surgical team during procedures
• Assist with room turnover between cases
• Participate in sterile processing and instrument sterilization
• Pull supplies and instruments for upcoming surgical cases
• Update surgeon preference cards as needed

• High School Diploma or Equivalent – Required
• Minimum 1 year of Surgical Tech experience
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Preferred
• Colorado State OR Tech Certification – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology Program – Preferred
