Overview
San Juan Eye Center, a well‑established private practice with two locations on the western slope of Colorado, is replacing a retiring optometrist with a full‑time doctor. The practice has offices in Delta and Montrose and employs four optometrists.
ResponsibilitiesLead primary eye care and ocular disease management, co‑management, and treatment of ocular emergencies. Conduct red eye visits, foreign body removals, and other routine patient examinations. Maintain a busy schedule with a constant flow of patients from day one.
Qualifications- Dedicated to patient care with a good bedside manner.
- Willing to spend quality time with patients.
- Base salary plus unlimited production bonus (potentially $200 000 +).
- Paid state license fees, DEA, professional malpractice insurance, and AOA/COA dues.
- Stipend for continuing education.
- Monday through mid‑day Friday schedule (no weekends or holidays).
- Health insurance, Aflac, vision care.
- 401(k) with match.
- Paid holidays and vacation.
