About the PositionTravel Nurse Source is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Delta, Colorado, 81416!
- Provides professional nursing care for assigned patients in the emergency room.
- Triages each patient and determines priority of care based on physical, psychological and social needs as well as factors influencing patient flow through the emergency care system.
- Time management is crucial.
- Responsible for moving patients, taking blood samples, cleaning and bandaging wounds, administering medications and maintaining proper supplies.
- Performs focused assessment of chief complaints of each patient in a timely manner according to established triage guidelines.
- Carries out patient care according to hospital policies and procedures functioning within the limitations of the Nurse Practice Act.

Requirements- Must be currently licensed to practice as an R.N. in the State of Colorado.
- At least two years experience in critical care nursing preferred.
- Specialty certification for specialty areas preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire.
- ENPC or PALS required within 6 months. ENPC preferred.
- TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year.
