• Provide professional nursing care for assigned patients in the emergency department
• Triage patients and determine priority of care based on acuity, presenting symptoms, and safety considerations
• Perform focused assessments, administer medications, start/maintain IVs, collect specimens, and manage wounds as directed
• Monitor patient status, respond to changes, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure timely, evidence-based care
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record, uphold hospital policies, and operate within the Nurse Practice Act
• Assist with patient movement, procedures, and ensuring supplies and equipment are readily available for care delivery
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, addressing questions and providing clear explanations of care plans

• Active Colorado RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required upon hire
• TNCC required upon hire or within 1 year; ENPC or PALS required within 6 months; ENPC preferred
• At least 2 years of critical care nursing experience preferred
• ER/acute care experience preferred
• Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts, including weekends, and meet the assignment’s guaranteed hours
• Education:
