Bilingual Substitute Teacher

Overview

Vacancies are posted as they become available. Interested applicants should monitor openings and apply accordingly.

• Deliver the curriculum prepared by the Education Coordinator/teacher.
• Administer pre-tests and post-tests to minors and evaluate results.
• Conduct initial educational assessments and place newly admitted minors at the appropriate instructional level based on educational background.
• Develop and implement a personalized educational plan (PEP).
• Perform periodic evaluations of minors and complete the progressive report.

• Bachelor degree with two years of experience as a teacher.
• Proven ability to work with minors in an educational setting.
• Required bilingual ability:
  English/Spanish.
• Work schedule:
  
  Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Immunization proofs:
  Varicella (2 doses), MMR (2 doses), Tdap (1 dose within past 10 years), Influenza (1 dose during flu season), and yearly Influenza and TB testing.

• Pay rate: $22 per hour.
