• valid/current new mexico teaching license with appropriate endorsement. Such alternative to the above qualifications as the superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

• participates in the iep process by attending iep meetings, collaborating with iep team members, preparing iep paperwork, and delivering instruction to enable students to make iep goal progress and documentation of that progress.
• meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
• plans a program of student success that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of student.
• creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students in their least restrictive environment.
• prepares for students assigned and demonstrates written evidence of preparation upon request of immediate supervisor.
• encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals, and, in congruency with those goals, establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units and projects to communicate said objectives to students.
